TRIANGLE ACCORDIAN BOOK

In this activity, you will learn how to fold a single piece of paper to make a clever triangle accordion book that you can decorate or illustrate however you like.  I will provide the paper to make the book and a heavier paper for the front and back covers free of charge. While you won’t be adding the covers during the activity, you will learn how to do that, and get ideas for completing your book. Please sign up, as there is a limit of 5 people per session.

MOSAIC OF INSPIRATION

Learn the art of mosaic while creating a mini mosaic to keep. Choose an inspirational word tile to begin your mosaic, then choose from a wide variety of fun, colorful tiles and beads to complete your piece.  Participants will have a large variety of colorful tile to work with. This activity will be suitable for children ages 12 and up to adults. I will have a sign-up sheet and can accommodate 5 students per session.  Material cost is $12 upon signup. Sessions 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.

Explore the realm of rustic design and discover how to create switch plate covers with birch bark. Pursue creativity and a relationship with nature through this methodical procedure.

Tricia will be demonstrating this process all day. She will be teaching the tricks to the trade at no cost to you. Several finished rustic and beach switch plate covers, along with rustic décor, will be available for purchase.

ARTIST JAMBOREE

Join us in creating an artwork built from the imagination of our community. Choose a community themed idea and bring it to life through drawing or painting. Each finished piece, labeled with its prompt on the back will be combined with others to form one, collective canvas. The final artwork will be displayed on our 287 Main gallery wall as a vibrant reflection of the many voices, ideas, and perspectives that shape us. We can accommodate about 5 people at a time.  9:00-11:00 and 1:30-3:30   FREE

PAPER MOSAIC STILL LIFE

Create your own colorful paper mosaic still life with artist Anya Pautova. In this hands-on workshop, participants will use bright paper pieces to build a fruit composition while learning about composition, viewpoint, color, style, and the mosaic approach to image-making. This activity is beginner-friendly, playful, and suitable for both adults and children. A sign-up sheet can be available at the workshop table, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.  Anya will be participating in the Quickdraw in the morning.  Workshop will run after the auction from 2 PM–4 PM.

Free to participate and materials will be provided.  Anya requests a $5 contribution to cover material costs.
